Lead and Learn only can You Govern.

Lead and Learn only can You Govern.

De Squared was engaged by the largest Indian conglomerate working in the domains of Infrastructure, Building, Agriculture and Industrial inculcating performance culture across the organisation for a renewable yearlong engagement. The key ask was to sensitize the leadership and the management cadres on what “performance” is and how managing performance is the only way to manage the business.

We designed interventions to equip the entire leadership and management cadre with the skills necessary to define, encourage, track and monitor their team performance.

The basis of our designs was certain assumptions.

Work continues to advance at dizzying rapidity, and technology enables us to become more effectual than ever before. Yet, handling employees’ performance and efficiency has never been more perplexing.

With our experience the team at D – Squared bifurcated programs for
· Frontline Management
· Middle Management
· Senior Management

For the frontline management we implemented processes for improving employee performance through simple matrixes. The topics for the training and process improvement stressed on better communication, clear expectations, and feedback to improving work performance.

The Middle management was coached on some key mantras of progressing to improving employee performance. Through various group exercises and one on one session we are able to make them realise that team improvement requires intentionality and commitment to supporting employees in their day-to-day performance. Only when there is transparency and open communication, can they implement measurements, processes, and cultural norms to improve employee performance.
The senior management was coached on how to coach and mentor. Our key interventions let to this senior team get out of day to day operations but focus on the culture of the company and alignment with the vision and mission. At the end of the year, this team felt empowered to bring in positive changes without causing major upheavals.
The entire program was all about self-discovery. Unanimously, the team agreed that the maximum prospects for improving performance over and over again come from daily management practices.
